I went to most celebrated “the hunger games”. It is a movie based on the critically acclaimed novel and made record number of almost 19 million dollars on the first day(not first weekend, just one day). I did not like the movie, it was the one liner that was used to describe the movie. Despite some very well-modulated performances, the movie was really only the game with not much comment on the social fabric causing it or long lasting impacts of the protagonist victory… I have seen many movies with the same concept especially Korean

So despite very bad reviews on Agent Vinod, I went to watch the movie to quench my unfulfilled cinematic thirst. Well I liked this movie. It was strongly inspired by country hopping MI movies and of coarse the coolness of Mr Bond.
It has neither boasts of a complicated storyline nor very sleek events. But what goes in its favor is the pace of the movie and that stays true to its genera, so rare in hindi movies.
Donn get me wrong I laughed hard at the tin-can nuclear bomb, questioned the blood trail and crazy security lapses and wondered when the movie will end as it moved passed many moments that could have been the good ending for the movie…. But when I compare it to other so called Bollywood action movies it stands out.
The romantic moments were not as nauseating as of Don 2, the country hopping was a rare treat since the greens of Switzerland’s are an eye sore now and personally blood shed & bomb blasts always welcome…
May be its just the rebel in me looking to defy the popular verdict, but I still take advantage of the democracy to speak my unconventional views J
